Darryl Glover

__Darryl Glover is Senior Counsel and owner of Glover & Associates. Prior to law, Mr. Glover obtained his Bachelor of Arts in psychology (bilingual French) at Glendon College of York University, class of '85. He worked in social work and teaching for challenged young people and received several community service honours including two awarded by the Prime Minister and Lieutenant Governor of Ontario before obtaining his Real Estate Broker's licence in 1989. After a successful career selling and managing in the resale real estate industry, Mr. Glover returned to school to pursue his law degree. A graduate of Queens Law class of '99, Mr. Glover articled for the Crown Attorney before venturing out on his own to form his full service law firm. Mr. Glover is pleased with the growth of the firm over the years and is proud to be working with such a dedicated and hard-working group. Most common areas of practice include Real Estate, Family and Wills. He is a member of the Collaborative Family Practice Groups of Toronto and Durham as well as the Durham Lawyers' Association, Ajax Pickering Board of Trade, Toronto Beach Business Improvement Association and Business Professionals Association of Canada.

Amelia Yiu

____Amelia Yiu is litigation counsel at Glover & Associates. Prior to obtaining her law degree she received a bachelors degree in journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, graduating with high honours. After working for a year in public relations, she received her law degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 2006. Amelia articled for a Bay street commercial litigation boutique firm where she received an excellent foundation in civil litigation. Since then, Amelia's practice consists of almost exclusively litigation files and she has first-hand knowledge and experience at all levels of court. The areas of law she most often handles are collections, commercial, estate and family litigation. Amelia is also a bar exam tutor for the Law Society of Upper Canada in the area of Estates law.

Stephanie Ostrom

___Stephanie Ostrom is an articling student at Glover & Associates. She completed her undergraduate degree at York University, majoring in History. She then attended Queen’s University for law school and graduated in June 2011. Stephanie is interested in family law, estate litigation and real estate and is looking forward to a comprehensive and exciting articling year with Glover & Associates.

Danielle Schouten

___Danielle has many roles here at Glover & Associates. In addition to her aid and support with all aspects of our legal firm she is also the executive assistant to Mr. Glover. Danielle graduated from the Police Foundations Program at Durham College. Since then, she has also worked for one of Canada's leading financial investment firms in Toronto and Ottawa. Danielle has always wanted to pursue a career in law and is delighted to be working for the successful and well-established law firm that is, Glover & Associates.

Whitney Schouten

___Whitney Schouten is an administrative assistant at Glover & Associates. She graduated from Law and Security Administration Program (with honours) at Durham College in June 2009. Whitney is very pleased to be working in the legal profession, for Glover and Associates.

Monica Mayer

___Monica has been with Glover & Associates since August 2002 as our family law clerk. She has over 20 years of family law experience and extensive knowledge in the area of family law.  She coordinates all of the family law matters and addresses timelines, conference requirements and all related documentation in order to ensure that requirements are met in a timely manner. Monica’s involvement in the family law department is invaluable.

Pam Groenwold

___Pam is the bookkeeper for Glover & Associates.  Pam has been with the firm since its inception and ensures accurate and timely management of the office finances.

Pamela Glover

___Pamela Glover recently joined the firm as support staff and assists in all areas of law that the firm currently provides. She also provides English/Spanish translations and/or interpretation services for our clients. Pamela brings some 15 years of experience in the areas of Communications and Human Development.

Holly

___Holly is our office mascot. He is a sweet Bichon-Poo who comes to visit sometimes and loved to greet people and welcome them to our office. Come by and say hello to him sometime.
